Declaration of the Abrahamic Movement – Syria: The Knights of Peace and the New Political Paradigm

If peace in the Quran is a divine revelation, one of the names of God, and a station of right guidance—is it to be interpreted through the superficiality of literal words? Or are its secrets comprehended only by those firmly rooted in knowledge, in whom the light of discernment and the wisdom of interpretation have converged?

The Existential Essence of the Abrahamic Movement

For the Abrahamic Movement, knowledge is not merely a mental exercise reduced to the accumulation of information; it is neither a cultural condition measured by the texts a person memorizes, nor a privilege granted by education or office. Rather, it is an existential transformation — a shift from perceiving the outward appearance of things to witnessing their ultimate truth, and from reading history as a sequence of random events to understanding it as the unfolding of divine laws within human society.

Consequently, the Abrahamic Movement cannot be understood as a mere political project or a passing moral discourse. These are but the external manifestations of a far deeper essence, revealed only to those who transcend the boundaries of words into meaning, the limits of thought into wisdom, and ascend from abstract intellect to the spiritual insight that beholds the unity of truth behind the multiplicity of forms.

Therefore, not everyone who speaks of Abrahamic peace truly knows it, and not everyone who defends it has grasped its secret. Truth does not reside in words, but in the consciousness that infuses those words with meaning — just as light is not attained by gazing at the lamp, but through the capacity of sight itself.

The Knights of Peace and the New Political Paradigm

From this spiritual station, the Knights of Abrahamic Peace are born. They do not constitute an organizational class, nor are they holders of offices or titles. Rather, they are those who have transitioned from seeking knowledge to being shaped by it, until knowledge becomes their form, truth their methodology, and wisdom their nature. They redefine the foundational concepts of society:

• Politics: Is not a struggle for power, but the science of establishing justice.
• The State: Is not a mechanism for managing force, but an instrument for preserving human dignity.
• The Homeland: Is not a geographical border, but a moral covenant where human meets human under the sacred mandate of divine stewardship (Al-Istikhlaf).

This is because they understand that civilization is built by conscience long before it is built by weapons; that security is not achieved by armies alone unless preceded by a person’s peace with themselves; and that peace is not the end of wars, but the beginning of the birth of the New Man.

The Unity of the Divine and the Human

In this understanding, the divine nature is inseparable from the human (Lahut from Nasut), for the divine will does not manifest outside of history, but through the human being who is responsible for it. Thus, stewardship becomes a continuous movement to translate divine values into human reality: mercy becomes a system of governance, justice becomes the law of civilization, and wisdom becomes the scale that balances power.

A person does not become a vicegerent because they possess authority, but because they carry the trust. One is not strong because they conquer others, but because they conquer their own ignorance, fear, and desire. Upon reaching this station, they realize that the greatest battles are not fought on earth, but rage within the depths of the soul — between light and darkness, truth and illusion, and between the freedom that grounds responsibility and the freedom that degenerates into chaos.

Knowledge as an Act of Liberation

Hence, knowledge becomes an act of liberation, freeing the human being from the bondage of ignorance before freeing them from the domination of others. It does not provide ready-made answers, but rather grants the capacity to discern the hidden threads connecting humanity, history, revelation, and civilizational flourishing. It teaches that:

• Politics divorced from morals degenerates into the mere management of narrow interests.
• Morals divorced from knowledge turn into helpless sentimentality.
• Knowledge divorced from wisdom becomes a tool for domination and control.
• Peace divorced from truth is nothing but a temporary truce — postponing conflict rather than resolving it.

Transforming Consciousness and Shaping History

Therefore, the Abrahamic Movement is not a project to redraw maps, but a grand endeavor to rebuild the human being. Any change that does not begin within human consciousness is doomed to reproduce past crises in new guises. Any state that does not found itself upon knowledge, justice, and mercy will remain a captive of raw power, regardless of its material advancement.

The Knights of Abrahamic Peace do not act out of mere reactivity; rather, they operate with a profound awareness of the laws of history, the objectives of revelation (Maqasid al-Wahy), and the evolution of human consciousness. Consequently, they do not measure their success by the number of signed treaties or the scope of their political influence, but by their ability to transform the human being from an object of conflict into a partner in civilizational growth — from a fearful creature nourished by discord into a witness to truth and a conscious shaper of history.

Conclusion: Peace as a Way of Being

At this height, peace is no longer a slogan but a way of being; knowledge is no longer a collection of data but a light revealing the unity of divine purpose within the diverse paths of humanity; and the homeland is no more a mere place of dwelling, but a moral mission carried wherever one goes.

Only then does it become clear that Abrahamic peace is not a concept to be merely explained to the masses, but an epistemic, spiritual, and civilizational station. It reveals itself only to those firmly rooted in knowledge — those uniquely capable of distinguishing between the literal text and its spirit, between the outward appearance of an event and its true purpose, and between the authority of force and the power of truth.
