Isaac TV Marks National Minority Day with Special Discussion on Rights, Harmony and Inclusion

To commemorate National Minority Day, Isaac TV Eternal Life Church organized a special televised program titled “Minorities Day Special – Winning Souls,” hosted by Sister Mishal Kashan and Pastor Nimra Shakeel. On rights and representation: Journalist Junaid Qaiser discussed the challenges minority communities face worldwide, including issues of rights, identity, and persecution — and said discriminatory laws and constitutional restrictions on holding top public offices deserve attention, arguing all citizens should have equal opportunity to contest for the country’s highest positions.

Qaiser also praised Pakistan’s current leadership, particularly Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, citing decisions related to the Board of Peace and mediation efforts during the recent US-Iran conflict as examples of what he described as wise and courageous leadership.

Government Initiatives and Economic Empowerment

Evangelist Mishall Kashan commended Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for initiatives benefiting Christian communities and other minorities, and discussed government measures aimed at promoting minority rights and welfare alongside the broader theme of interfaith harmony.

Ephrahim Azeem Wazir spoke on economic empowerment, acknowledging the challenges minorities in Pakistan face while pointing to significant opportunities for growth and success. He encouraged Christian youth to pursue business and entrepreneurship, framing economic empowerment as a path to a stronger future for individuals and society alike, and shared his own family’s story of perseverance as an example.
